PostSubject: A serious turbo for the serious Probe!   November 1st 2009, 6:09 pm

So after my 3rd ebay t3t4 turbo went on me it was time to spend the money and get a kick ass turbo. Im still on a stock block so I needed one that would work for my current set up but was able to hold at least 600whp. So I spent the most money ever spent at one time for my Probe and bought the new Precision 5857 Ceramic dual ball bearing turbo with there new billet wheel. Not only im I going to spool faster then before but ill make more power with less boost.

This the new 5857 next to the ebay 50trim. Huge difference!

I may spray the intercooler with a NOS kit I got for 150.00 bucks!

Oh if anyone likes the Nitrous bottle and has a reg good condition one ill trade you. It doesnt match my car at all.

Nice turbo. I have a few friends running the 6262 with the billet wheel, ported housing etc. I can get them for around $800 but then again a buddy and I are turbo dealers.

TIME OUT! you can get a CERAMIC BALL BEARING W/BILLET WHEEL FOR ONLY 800.00??? Or are you talking about a journal bearing? I could have gotten the journal bearing for that price but not a BALL BEARING. If thats the case my 88 Mazda mx6 gt turbo coupe could use a 5857!!

ballbearing is usually a $400 option on those turbys.

so, NO, 99.9% sure its only billet wheel, and ported housing.

Well even if he sells his turbos for 800.00 and you add 400.00 thats still a great deal for this kind of turbo. I think its a different turbo he talking about. This is the New line from Precision and its air cooled.
