not bad, my boy had his done around the same time, not full bolt ons, same boost but making 700+ and 600+tq... i guess very similar setup to that, idk y he made so much more power tho, i wasnt very involved in that car he just dropped it off at a shop and let them do w/e with it |

Higher HP levels demand a larger inlet tract. That would be a no brainer. Any one inlet component that is restrictive (manifold, throttle body, ducts, meter or filter) will limit and kill HP and the higher air flow demanded by the supercharger. Fits under the stock hood, but the big MAMMOTH™ Manifold and larger 2.8H decrease hood clearance limiting boost to minimum 18.5 psi (max for street) with the stock 7.5” crank pulley and 3-1/2” supercharger pulley. Note: Use optional 6.55” crank pulley x 3-1/2” supercharger pulley for 15 psi (see Tech & Tuning Tips ‘03 Cobra MAMMOTH™ Kit). Some cars get by with a 3-3/4”x7.5” (17 psi). Check for clearance with clay. Kit includes battery relocation kit to left side. Right side fenderwell lacks the air flow capacity and space for high HP levels. Kenne Bell BOOST-A-PUMP™ is needed at 450HP. |

| No offense, but the reading doesnt mean much to me. It's from the companies website, which is going to give you, BEST CASE scenario numbers, all while usually hiding/not giving the complete list of mods, or AFR's and what not, in order to sell their product... |

| this thread should be linked to SVTPerformance....so they can continue the GT500 vs Cobra debate....from my own experience I know that mod for mod the GT500 will always be faster....intake/pulley GT500 will always pull a intake/pulley cobra...(5.4L w/2.2supercharger vs 4.6L w/1.8 supercharger).the GT500 generally needs about 20-40whp more to be even with a Cobra being that the Cobra is lighter...but on that note the Cobra can't make power like the GT500..a simple upper pulley and intake on a GT500 makes 520whp....whereas you'll need a full bolt on Cobra to make 500whp(intake/headers/upper pulley/TB/etc)....Frank don't sleep on the GT500 remember its not all about HP when you race....SlowWhiteShelby has alot of little things here and there that make him as fast as he is.....don't expect to just come out on a Kenne Bell and walk the road with him because you might have your hands full with a lightly modded Z06.....I say do alot of weight reduction and hit the car with a 225-250shot...with race gas....just my opinion to be safe....
or
bring the z06 out do some supporting mods and "professionally" tune it for a 300shot...thats what batmobile was running |

| Hey Felix I know where you come from about the GT500 and the 03/04 Cobras!!! I am working already on my car and I already took down about 180LBS of the car, My cars its no longer 3650LBS Cobra anymore + I ordered Some parts that will make my car about 400RWHP more powerfull not mentioning the nitrous too. I just Cant see with my eyes a 3800LBS 875RWHP GT500 Walking a 750RWHP+04Cobra.. No way.. hes going to need atleast 1000RWHP to beat me Watch felix ama do the same thing I did to that keith 3,450LBS 800+AWDHP white Porsche... Hey Chris If I beat you by atleast 3 cars, would you please let me know so I can get you an 03/04 cobra that way you can put your money into a real soon to be fast car like mine or persay a junkyard Cobra like you call it..  |
