Blowing motors doesn't mean its a tuners fault. Fuel pumps go bad, wastegate line pops off, bad motor builds, misshift, broken spark plug, low oil etc etc.... diiirk tuned my car on 30 lbs so if i blow up on 37 lbs am i going to blame him? NOPE, too many variables to point the finger.

I personally know and respect them both. I just thought that given the fact that the fastest 2j's in florida are tuned by Cris (Big Daddy, his son's, raw s2k, albert's, sandor's, pnuts, a myriad of out-of state and out-of the country) that he would know a thing or two about them. After all, he was running 1200hp 2jz's back in the day when lance was running H22's. But they are both very good at it. Very Happy

I mean, assuming that there is still a difference between a dyno queen and a car that actually goes down the track fast right?

All those track cars run great..... And street cars tuned by Cris also run well. I think Josh's supra (lance tuned) would be a great race against any of these mentioned cars on the street.........

talk to the owners to see if they want to race, the day I have a fast car I'll be racing. Until then I just stick to tuning slow cars Sad

But I'm sure if he goes to the track he'll find plenty races that don't need setting up and have a good time.

to be fair.......lance has owned the toyota I6 market for many years......when crispeed was doing rotaries.....lance had a fast 7m supras when no one else did.....he has mastered the 2jz ge and gte for years.....the H22 was a race car project where he stepped into a honda market for racing against big dollar race teams and in 1 year had the fastest car at the time out there......
Crispeed is a bad asss tuner and i wouldnt say one is better than the other...they both have a proven history....there are also other newer tuners out there doing great things.....
now about the 240.....lol.....lets see it putting in some work....should be flying.....who cares what turbo....nitrous.....ect...shits makin power...more vids please

lance's 7m supra was SICK for its time! i loved that car! too bad he doesnt build engines anymore and is only tuning, i used to love hanging out at his shop

to tell you the truth almost every 2j you mentioned is on a car thats under 3000lbs and making about 900whp except for big daddy. not that they arent some of the hardest running cars out here but... 800whp to 900whp 2jz are a dime a dozen now-a-dayzzz.
in my opinion those cars engines arent doing much more than the average 2j's running around, whats making those cars stand out and kicking ppl's asses out there is engine and platform combination and there suspension is tuned nicely.
