PostSubject: Tina's Evo9 build   January 3rd 2011, 2:36 pm

Here are some pictures of our current project. This is my wife's evo. It will be a 6765 forward facing setup WITH a/c. As soon as the intake manifold is back from being polished, it's go time to bolt everything up. All wrenching, fabrication, wiring, tuning, etc is done in-house.

Started as...

Added a couple of parts....

As it sits right now...

Parts purchased for the build up...

I cut open her intake manifold to smoothen it out because the casting was horrible.

I made a forward facing turbo manifold. This thing is 100% perfectly equal length...even equal amounts of straight and bends. I didn't clean up all of the bends because it was going to be coated anyways.

Check back in next week for updates.

Here are some updated pictures.

Mock up oil drain hose. The correct line will have all black fittings.

fittings

vibrant clamps

Money shot :P

Mounted the rails today. It's a polished Magnus manifold with Magnus rails. Polishing didn't come out as expected but it'll have to sit on the back burner can't afford the extra downtime again. Sad

Stock injector's are temporary.. waiting on my other set of ID1000's to come in.
