| V6 Chris just got a lil short block from a special car in the junkyard The 2j is still going in. But I'll be building another V6 or 2...or 3 to swap in later. It'll still fit right in front of the C4 just better 1/4 times. Strictly going for all Ford V6 records with these motors. first will be stock motor n/a and nitrous record. its only 12.6 or something...hopefully with the C4 on motor I'll run that time. on bottle 11s I'll post pics when ever I take em |

thats the plan The 2j is going to be more the money maker for me. w/e funds I win on the street/track will go to the v6 the first motor wont cost much...everything I port myself and I have heads, and intakes for the motor, just need a bad lil cam. probably spend at most $800 on the motor after building the top end and buying the short block. the nitrous I'll have from the 2J setup The car is setup perfect for breaking all track records, which is the goal....light, C4, stall, trans brake, rear end, suspension etc.. but the C4 will hinder me from breaking power records. Might just get a stock t5 $150, and a cheap used clutch for good dyno numbers thats all.
I love the stupid fast speed the 2j does. but Its not my idea or building...i actually enjoy building these lil v6ers |

tubular K, tubular A-arms, lakewood 90/10s, coil springs in front(130rate), double adj upper control(rear), set lower control arms. Eibach drag launch springs in the rear and lakewood 50/50s in the rear.
still need an anti-roll, and full length subframes. Also probably will be getting a 10point cage for her |

| im really focused on finishin the 2jz first. after that i'll be focusing on the v6 motor. gonna see if alberth will work up a turbo kit for it, then the motor will be built but simple, i was gonna go big and all out but i think just a decent ported head, a well spec'd cam to match the head flow will and 25-30psi will work best and some nitrous. thats really all thats needed to beat these records. everyone is girly about the motors with only 18psi on built motors |

the 2j or v6? the 2j im guessing around 150+ trap. which with this chassis and weight should put me in the 8s on paper. but we'll see. i'll be happy in the 9s...i'd like to be in the 8s though
the v6 motor the record is 9.7 @ 137 with 667rwhp....i think its pitiful and weak. The goal with that motor is to smash that record making 740+whp and 145+traps at bottom 9s if not 8s
ultimately I've always wanted to hold the v6 record. the 2jz thing honestly really killed me to do. I mean i trust alberth with the car and ideas. I love doing something new and different, and after a ride in the supra, the 240 and the yellow s2k,,, the choice was 100%. but i love actually building my cars and motors with a rare motor people dont like or modify. the 2j is kinda mainstream for me
plus i know the v6 motor in and out and i know exactly what it needs to run a good time. this time i'll have the fuel, ecu and so on to do so. |
