PostSubject: New Street Racing Law    October 1st 2010, 4:10 pm

There are 32 new laws in Florida this year and they take affect TODAY...
One is aimed at Street Racing... damn bastards...so be warned NOT to get caught..

Street racing: Sreet racers with repeat offenses will face bigger fines. Second violations will result in a fine of at least $1,000. Three or more offenses will mean fines of $2,000 to $5,000 and a possible four-year driver's license revocation. The bill was named for Luis Rivera Ortega, an Orange County teenager who was riding his bike when he was killed by a street racer doing between 50 mph and 70 mph in a 35-mph zone.

this is the reason street racing is so badly viewed in society, two dumbasses decided to race in a residential 35mph zone, I give cops all the right to arrest people who do this, when we race we do it, its in an environment that is as controlled as possible, away from any civilization where the only people that can get hurt are the ones racing. And even then its hard to get injured because you won't hit any trees or telephone poles.
