Franks tire is a 315/45/16 which is 27.161 inches in diameter

A C6 Z06 tire is a 325/30/19 which is 26.667 inches in diameter

so what does this all mean?

1st point: understand that both the 4th gear on a Z06 and the 4th gear on a Cobra have a 1:1 ratio

2nd point: Franks tire is half an inch taller (.494 to be exact) then a Z06, that means it takes longer for his tire to spin one complete rotation compared to a stock Z06 tire

3rd point: Frank has a shorter final drive since he has a 3.55 while a Z06 has a 3.42 thus making Franks gearing shorter but also the fact that he has a bigger tire makes it longer aswell.....

4th point: both a C6 Z06 and Frank rev out to 7000rpm

with all that said, it would be safe to assume that if both cars had the same final drive then the Cobra because of its larger tire diameter would be able to reach higher speeds in 4th gear, but since it has a shorter final drive of 3.55 it makes both of the cars fairly similar in 4th.

remember though this is not calculating the diameter loss when the tire is at 12psi this is at 30psi at full height and also not calculating loss of mph due to wind resistance

It might look and sound good on paper, but wind resistance really does cause a loss in mph in these cars. I just don't see 160+mph in 4th happening in the real world. Who knows though, maybe i'm wrong. BTW, I have the 5 speed TR 3650 in my car.

Unfortunately Frank price shouldnt matter I can rape Lambos, Ferraris, Porsche as you can too and you know how much those cars cost. I could have easily built anything i wanted for the amount of the GTR but it is the best daily driver car out there handles better than all those Lambos Porsches and Ferraris except with a VERY few cars from these manufacturers. IMO that LFA is a COMPLETE waste of money but i would have one if i can afford it though car is sexy as hell but it barely beat that BONE STOCK GTR HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
