| New turbo finally came in..essentially an HTA35R with quicker spool up (billet wheel stuff is neat)  Just felt like sharing since I thought the picture of my Red Stripe was awesome |

eh haven't had that issue with mine. It hasn't seen full boost yet but the boost it has seen it doesn't whine |

eh haven't had that issue with mine. It hasn't seen full boost yet but the boost it has seen it doesn't whine |
do you have a filter on it, intake or open turbo? |

just filter on turbo. It does make a slight whine now though after you've mentioned it. But it's only initially on spool up, after that it sounds normal. I'd say it's more a whistle than a whine though, almost like how the BW's sound |

| My boys S256 used to whine, ended up having some loose bolts on the turbo/wastegate/manifold, so thats the sound it would make when air was squeezing in through the gaps. |
