Took our bastard evo to the track last night to shoot for 8's.
Track prep was terrible and it was way over crowded.
We only got a couple runs in, but on our best run of the night, we ripped tires in 1st, short shifted second, and still went 9.2 @ 163 with a terrible 1.60 60 ft.
Not bad for an evo built with spare parts from around the shop and a stock ecu.
The car weighs in at 2930, It is not a gutted, lexan window, nitrous, air to water, full drag car.
Wait till this thing hooks, some of the 80k+ drag evos are going to cry when this budget built car runs down there times on a stock ecu...
