got the project car......and it's a chevy cheers

350 (auotmatic Rolling Eyes

) some rust but it runs.....were turning it into a drag car and to look just like my fathers old 79 z28 when he was my age.... cheers

lol you roll your eyes about the automatic part...but if you want a FAST drag car. garuntee it wont be manual.

Turbo400 in that. 454stroker. tubbing that tank will be a must. a FORD 9 lol
probably even better off with a FORD C4 over the turbo400. or better yet GLIDE.

never that, "TH400" for the win always...you can run the glide if your prostock and the car is setup only for the 1320

is that a 5th gen SS monte in the pic as well? i had a question about those if you can help me with that as im trying to identify one for my friend i need to know what the rpo code on the spid label for the 5th gen monte carlos

i have a 454 with brodix heads all forged parts if you are interested for it. I acquired it from a friend of mine losing his house, and it was sitting under a tent for the past 2 years. havent cracked it open, but from what he told me its all built inside.

well it just went in the shoppe to get a prime job before we start back on the engine. so far the plan is deff. boost. as far as the manual automatic. i kno most drag cars arn't manual but come on manual cars are so much sexi then automatic. im dieing for a manual car.
