Re: Diang0 vs albi
people have to realize thats a stock motor jus bc other ppl spray that much doesnt mean ne thing. he doesnt want to blow that motor its a daily driver.ive seen the piston wen it was sprayed witha 200 shot! DESROYED! 150 is the limit on that stock motor.

Re: Diang0 vs albi
dude, where there is a will, there is a way.
We've sprayed stock hashitashi honda's with 150 shots all day long.
The cylinder pressure isnt that high in V8s.
And just because no one has a drop in walbro pump doesn't mean you can't put an inline pump or a seperate fuel system for the fuel supply.
the only thing I would worry about it the transmission, but a window switch will help it survive.
looks like you guys need to attend one of my nitrous seminars.

You a trip Nory!...
But on a serious note, Im thinking about selling Silverbeast pretty soon, so there will be no need to "up the shot" and possibly fuck something up because of my carelessness!... Im fine the way the runs as it is now, but thanks for you guy's input!....Last edited by SilverbeastSRT8 on July 15th 2009, 3:07 pm; edited 4 times in total

no bro now you dont no what ur talkin bout. look at the spec on the srt motor, for a stock motor it still has a 10.5:1 compression and as far as the fuel pump it wouldnt work cuz they dont have an application for our cars if it did i would have already put one in.and nothing is forged in that motor at all.sorry nory i dont need nitrous seminars ive been around nitrous for 5 years.honda can take a higher rpm then a v8,unless the v8 is fully built and stve is not fully built

Re: Diang0 vs albi
compression ratio has nothing to do with anything.
Its all about dynamic compression ratio. IE cylinder pressure.
My LS2 is 10.9:1 with nothing done internally.
My old LT1 cars were stock bottom ends with 11:1 and we are talking about ancient small block technology compared to todays motors.
IT can handle it as long as you remedy the fuel system and have the proper ignition. And with DiabloSport being able to tune the computer now, its easy to retard timing.
Like I said you can do an inline pump if you don't want to go into it the tank or a stand alone system.
This is nothing new btw, the thing is, you havent seen someone do it YET.
If you get your shit together you can makes lots of power on any new motor, V8, v6 I4, I6.
Shit a buddy of mine with a stock bottom end LS6 made 800 rwhp. Lots of people are doing it now, unlike before when everyone was like ZMG you can only make XXX power on stock bottom ends.
It sounds like its crazy but its not. A well designed and engineered system cost $$$ but will keep you safe and making more power than most other.

cody, nory is right about the fuel pump dilemma and this can be done on any car. With conservative timing and his a/f spot on I could see a 175 shot lasting quite some time on steve's car and wouldnt doubt the car is on a 150+ right now considering someone from SK has posted before that its on a 150.

Trust me the ppl that know steve and his car the best are the car club members. we have seen the silverbeast since the day of it's inception. i my self was the the day the nitrous kit was installed. started out on a 100 shot and now is on a 125 shot. no more no less. lastly steve is not a liar so if he says it's a 125 shot? than thats what it is period.

A Jesse, if your speaking on this video, here it is for everyone to see because I really dont have nothing to hide!...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q15jANR2YMg
If you look at the date of the video, that was when I just put on my nitrous setup, and I really didnt know what rolls to start with and didnt understand the importance of "Tiptronic" or even how to use it!... I told Joel longtime ago to take down this video because I knew it will bring confession later on down the road, but I guess he didnt..."LOL" In that race I did a 30roll(way to much hp and tq for that roll), and at that time I didnt know I was hindering my performance if I were to leave the traction control on, so I always left it on in every race to prevent me from losing control obviously... As soon as I came to a complete stop I noticed that my engine check light starting flashing repeatedly, which scared the shit out of me!... "LOL"
To be honest with you Jesse, that very same night I switch right back to the 100shot pills, because I didnt want to chance it once more and blow my motor, AND THATS NO BULLSHIT!...
As of now, im on a 125shot, and as you can see from my other video's, I do beat stock Z06's and certain bikes, not because im on a 150+shot, but its because I perfected driving my car!...
I posted this video to clarify what Jesse is talking about, and also, so that people can understand why im
to up my shot... NX 125shot pills are fuel:33&Nitrous:57, and the NX 150shot fuel:37&nitrous:62, somebody please write that down!...

Re: Diang0 vs albi
i have to agree that nory does know his shit with nitrous... think all his cars have been on bottle... and its true what he said... on the g35 you cant spray more than a 75 on stock fuel pump due to it not being able to support so a 100 shot or more requires a walb 255... i believe steve in that he on a 100 shot but certian races, THINGS DONT ADD UP! then again, i was on a "75" too...
